About Young Enterprise London

02-05-2007

Young Enterprise operates a number of programmes for young people on a learning-by-doing principle. These include running a real company in Company Programme, Team Programme and Graduate Programme; and learning about aspects of business from the first hand experiences of volunteers in Project Business,  Entrepreneurship Masterclass, Learn to Earn  and Primary Programme.

In 2005/2006, almost 50,000 students, aged between 4 and 25+ participated in Young Enterprise programmes across London. They were guided, encouraged and taught by more than 1200 volunteer advisers from local and national business.

Young Enterprise has a vision “that all young people will have the opportunity to gain personal experience of how business works, understand the role it plays in providing employment and creating prosperity, and be inspired to improve their own prospects, and the competitiveness of the UK.” In order to achieve this vision, more volunteers are needed each year.

All volunteers work alongside experienced teachers / lecturers. Gain satisfaction by investing your time, skills and knowledge for the benefit of a new generation.
