PROFILE SELECT will take place on Wednesday 9th March 2005 within the vaulted arches of Vinopolis, No. 1 Bank End, London SE1 9BU, situated Bankside, London Bridge.
Supported by The London Development Agency (LDA) and partnered by The Welsh Clothing and Textiles Association (WCTA) and Haringey Council, PROFILE is proud to have the continued backing of the influential British retailers; House of Fraser, Debenhams and Hobbs.
PROFILE is also thrilled to announce the support of TOPSHOP as a new addition to the collaborative this season. As before, exclusive awards on behalf of House of Fraser, Debenhams and Hobbs will be presented to winning designers of the women’s, men’s and accessory categories respectively and specifically introduced this season is also a “New Designer Award†sponsored by TOPSHOP.

PROFILE SELECT is a one-day event with two scheduled catwalk shows, at 4pm and the presentation show at 8pm. Doors will be opening from 2pm. Moreover, PROFILE SELECT retains its core objective to offer pre-selected designers a welcome platform from which they can develop their businesses, networking skills and industry contacts. Distinctly positioned between Graduate Fashion Week and London Fashion Week PROFILE aims to promote Britain’s design talent through the ranks of the UK fashion industry. This season’s streamlined event is a preview for PROFILE 6, a two-day trade exhibition and catwalk theatre, to take place in September 2005.
PROFILE continues its pledge to the future of British fashion.

PROFILE SELECT is organised by The London Fashion Forum, a non-profit making organisation and funded by the London Development Agency and regional partners The Welsh Clothing and Textiles Association. This allows exhibitors to take part in this unique trade event for a fraction of the cost of other leading trade exhibitions. Skillfast, JOFIT, LARC and Haringey Council, Fashion Works, Fashion Monitor, EMEP, Keith Benson & Associates, Unlimited Design, Whizz Kids and Sladgate Fielder Solicitors have all also confirmed their support and participation with PROFILE SELECT.
There are two scheduled catwalk shows, the first at 4pm and the Finale/Presentation show featuring Leah Wood and Matthew Holbrook at 8pm.
