Day 2 @ GFW

 

 

 

Day 2 at GFW and the attendance is still high with a constant flow of attendees. Naturally attendees comprise of family and friends and everyone is hoping that a strong turnout of industry personnel will be present for the Gala presentation on Wednesday night. This is the second time the LFF have taken a stand at GFW and there is a definite upbeat atmosphere that exceeds last year’s event.

 

The hierarchical personnel now includes Terry Mansfield and Jeff Banks who have both spent considerable time and expertise to ensure that this 14^th edition of GFW is the best yet and exceeds all expectations. It is certainly heading that way.

 

David Jones, Director and Chair LFF, has the arduous task of reviewing each of the fashion shows as part of the Mentoring Panel for GFW.

David reported “Once again the attendance on the second day at GFW is excellent if not exceptional. Where do so many people in this industry come from to support such an event?! The standard shown on the catwalk continues to be high and I am particularly impressed with Westminster and a good number of designers showing on behalf of Somerset produced interesting and in some cases exciting work. I was especially pleased to see the auditorium so full for a university that is based so far away from London. Credit to everyone involved in the organisation of this excellent event”
