So far, so safe, the most risqué of items seen all week was short shorts, teeny tiny things that can only be worn with a fabulous pair of legs. Otherwise, easy, one step dressing rules with an abundance of frocks. Simplicity is key with attention to detail, could this be a return to minimalism? Ongoing trends from last summer include knee-length city shorts, boxy jackets, ruffles and a continued nautical theme. Colours remain neutral and the black & white combo looks strong. For a quirky styling tip check out Luella, Lacoste and Imitation of Christ for their take on braces – or suspenders if you prefer. Plus, I also noted that emphasis has remained on the waist – either at the natural waistline or with higher empire line styles.
