One of the most frequent complaints received into the LFF head office is where to find the right manufacturing unit for small runs. Well the intrepid reporter Nalini Rajagopal has been pounding the pavements to find a suitable unit that is good quality and reliable.

 

 

“There is a great manufacturing opportunity for designers who need a low unit cost but high quality product with Hol Hol Clothing” explained Nalini. “heaped with experience this unit knows how to work with designers and they are there to provide a supporting arm too.”

 

The Director is Kevin Harris and he provided an overview of the company “We know how tough it is out there to make collections and brands mainstream. We are currently working with the high street which gives the factory long term planning and stability however we know that the real growth comes from the young designer sector. We are geared up to meet their every need”

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Based in North Action there is a wide cross section of machinery, all reasonably new and very clean and a highly dedicated and motivated workforce that have specialist skills. The factory has also had the foresight to have additional space available to ensure that everything is ready for major manufacturing growth. They have also invested in Bulgaria too so if you need larger runs for production then everything is at hand and, more importantly, in safe hands.

 

Prices can range from just 90p for a basic t-shirt type garment with minimum work content to around £10 a piece depending on work content and quality levels. Garment quantities can be as little as 5 but as high as 7,500 units.

 

 

 

Nalini continued “As I strolled around the factory, the atmosphere was friendly and buzzing and I actually bumped into one of the designers who is a member of the LFF and regularly use Hol Hol clothing, Natasha Wright., Design Director Rufus.

 

Natasha commented;

‘I have found Hol Hol Clothing to produce garments of extremely high quality, with quick turn around. Whether the order has been large or small, I have been offered support and Hol Hol clothing has never let me down in any respects”

 

 

Natasha has used Hol Hol for over a year and strongly recommended the unit. Another designer who uses Hol Hol is Beverley Calvert of  Hommebody (also members of the LFF).
