For Enterprise Week a Pamper Pod was erected in Centrale’s Shopping Mall to showcase the talents of 2nd year fashion students from both Kingston and Croydon Colleges. Staffed by Fashion-Enter under the initiative “Getting It Right First Time”, the students had a chance to promote themselves and their designs in the busy Centrale Shopping Centre. Opportunities were created to allow students to sell their exclusive t-shirts or obtain one-off commissions.
It is with grateful thanks here to Liz Ogilvie, Director of Business Enterprise at Kingston College, who paid for the stand, and Gayle Atkins, Fashion Course Leader at Croydon, for being so innovative!
The Croydon Advertiser attended the event – so again many thanks to the Business Editor David Callam for his tremendous support. There will be more to come from this initiative in the near future thanks to Justine Wright and Chris Lee of EQUAL, Croydon Enterprise through Croydon Business and Prefix. Keep checking back for the latest updates.
