(GRADS 2 B) Launch Preview Evening

Enter Boutique has been working closely with Croydon College BA Fashion 2nd Year Students over the last couple of months and we are now proud to announce that the winning students have been selected and will be at last selling their ranges exclusively to the public through Enter Boutique.

 

The work from the Croydon students is following a new style workshop that has been developed by Fashion Enter entitled “Getting it Right First Time”. The workshop provides guest speakers from the industry covering diverse subjects such as PR, illustration, successful designers, web designers and also designers that are currently failing in their chosen career path too; after all – for new business entrants to understand how business really works they have to take the good with the bad!

 

 

Over 35 students had been divided into groups working on a range of t-shirts. Each group had to define their target market, design their brand and logo, create the business and marketing plan and then actually make the garments to sell.

 

 

Fumi, one of the students from Croydon commented “I can’t believe how much I have learnt! This project has been exactly what we needed to understand how all the different parts of the industry work together and also to prevent us making mistakes when we go into business for ourselves. We have all learnt an incredible amount and it’s been enjoyable too. I can’t wait to see if our t-shirts from the Tainted Angels group actually sell in the Enter Boutique.”
