It’s that time of year again when hoards, of mostly young women, go on a fashion frenzy at Clotheshow Live. Now in its 15th Year, Clotheshow Live draws in thousands of visitors looking to pick up some brand bargains as well as spot the next big trends on the catwalk.
No stranger to the annual event is Clotheshow presenter Caryn Franklin, her key trend predictions for 2007; the shorter length skirt and the full circle skirt for those that don’t dare to bare on the thigh front. Geometric prints are also strong – as inspired by Diane von Furstenberg, and baggy cuffed shorts – as seen by the highly influential Marc Jacobs.
Along with bargains galore, live music and stunning catwalk shows, the event also attracts model scouts along with the industries top models. One such model was Caprice; she flew on to the catwalk quite literally – like an angel, thanks to some trusty wires. Cheered on by an appreciative crowd – Caprice also had time to say a very personal Hi to all at FashionCapital…
Clotheshow Live 06 at the NEC Birmingham ends on the 6th December.
