Ilius and his Alternative Fashion Week Debut

27-03-2007

Fashion designer Ilius Ahmed took part in this year’s Alternative Fashion Week held at Spitalfields Market in London’s Eastend. Here’s what he had to say about the experience:

“It was really manic but the show went really well. I was lucky enough to use Antoinette from ‘Make Me A Supermodel’ – she was beautiful.”

So what’s next on the agenda for the Ilius label?

“My plans are to design my next collection I have sold several pieces from my Spring/Summer line, which has been successful, but I am really homing in on getting editorial and magazine coverage. I also had an interview at the Royal College of Art to study at MA level, just waiting to see if I get a place, fingers crossed.”
