{mosimage}If you've been checking out all the recent London Fashion Week coverage then you'll know that designers involved with the British Fashion Council's New Generation initiative, sponsored by TopShop, are not short of press coverage. Alexander McQueen, Matthew Williamson, Christopher Kane and Gareth Pugh are just a handful of designers that have got their designs onto the catwalk thanks to the scheme. New Generation lends great financial support to staging a show, an exhibition stand or both. For those interested in applying for sponsorship for next season the deadline is fast approaching: 17th October. Terms of entry:

Your company should be UK based.

You should have been in business for no longer than 3 years.

The collection should consist of womenswear or accessories and not consist of menswear or bridalwear.

Design duos are permitted to enter.

No samples, press material or look-books should be submitted unless requested.

You are requested to provide 2 industry based references to complete your application form e.g. buyers or journalists.

Equal opportunities section must be completed, but can be anonymous, this will be kept and will not affect your entry.
