So how can you, or your man, recreate the look that has been injecting a little bit of Florida into our wardrobes… Look to presenters like George Lamb or Rick Edwards who carry the trend across our TV screens. Topman have got a wide collection of chinos in light colours and Toms are the perfect place to get a pair of espadrilles, but remember to wear them without socks! ASOS have a huge collection of pastel t shirts and paired with a light coloured blazer from H&M it will complete that Miami Vice look.

Lizzie Singleton, spokesperson for Debenhams commented: “We’re not surprised that Miami Vice chic has undergone a revival. Light pastel colours, loose jackets and casual tees suit all physiques. Dressing like you are on Miami South beach is also a great way to cheer you up after a wash-out of an August”.
