“OBTAINING FINANCE FOR CREATIVE BUSINESSES

It is a fact that many creative businesses in London fail to access necessary finance, not because funding is unavailable, but because their finance propositions are of poor quality.

 

K Benson Associates, the providers of business advisory services to fashion and creative companies, are running a series of workshops, aimed at enabling you to present your case for obtaining external funding more effectively.  This workshop will provide you with the knowledge and all of the required tools to make a successful proposition to a financing organisation for obtaining additional funding for your company.

 

Whatever type of finance your business needs, the FundAssist workshop can help you find a solution. The workshop is designed to lead you step-by-step through the process of raising finance and includes the following topics:

 

·          Preparation of formal Marketing & Operational Plans for your business

·          Development of detailed Sales & Financial Forecasts

·          Production of a formal Business Plan to assist you to clearly and successfully express your funding needs to prospective financing organisations 

·          Determination of the type & level of additional funding required that would be most appropriate for the ongoing financing needs of your business  

·          Advice on appropriate financing organisations who may be able to provide the necessary funding, such as loans, grants, equity, etc., including the availability of any creative sector specific finance.

 

Following on from the workshop, KBA will visit each attendee individually to further discuss and assist, as necessary, with any of the aspects covered at the workshop. 

 

The FundAssist workshops are being run by K Benson Associates, a business support company that works with both start-up businesses and existing small companies in the creative sector that are seeking, or planning to seek, various forms of finance.  We help companies to explore their options and present successful cases for funding through grants, loans, equity investment and/or other available financing methods. 

 

These workshops will help you identify any further steps you may need to take before you put forward your proposal for funding.
