On Monday (08.08.11), well known vodka company ABSOLOUT released a new limited edition version of their spirit, named ABSOLUT MODE. The fashionable limited edition bottle has been launched together with a stylish visual campaign, featuring supermodel Shannon Click, and shot by photographer Sharif Hamza, who is well known in the fashion industry for producing superior images for a vast collection of fashion magazines.

“It was very inspiring to work with Sharif Hamza. He immediately came up with an idea for the photo shoot that we loved. It really captures the concept and ends up in breath-taking imagery, both moving images and stills,” says Mathias Westphal, Global Brand Director at The Absolut Company.

“There is a wonderful association between ABSOLUT and some of the great photographers of our past like Helmut Newton and Herb Ritts. It’s an honor to be included in this group of legendary image makers,” says Sharif Hamza.

The company have previously had support from successful fashion designers such as Versace and Tom Ford, and in more recent years have collaborated with the likes of Gaultier and Stella McCartney. With a name like ABSOLUT MODE the company hopes to entice trend setters and fashionistas, whilst drawing on the brand’s heritage within the world of fashion.

The redesign of the iconic ABSOLUT bottle is seductively styled, featuring twelve facets wrapped with a band of midnight blue silk cloth and marked with lavish text and embroidery.

You will be able to purchase the bottle from today at Selfridges and Harvey Nichols, then it will be made available in supermarkets on the 5th of September.
