Marks And Spencer Return To The Netherlands After A Decade

The company left Netherlands a decade ago after low sales, and low interest on products compared to other lead high street brands in the country.
Since new CEO Mark Bolland joined the company in November 2009 the company has been going from strength to strength and the high street giant is now ready to make another try of the Netherlands.
It M&S’s bid to become the leading international and multi-channel retailer this move is a big step in their ongoing business plan. Launching with a combined e-commerce and a 500sq mt Amsterdam store.
Marks and Spencer also returned to Europe only 2 years ago after launching their first boutique and website in France, then Belgium, Luxembourg and now Netherlands.
