HIGH STREET V’s DESIGNER
25-07-2013
High Street V’s Designer – there is only one fashion diva who expresses this war and that is Gok Wan. The fashion expert and award winning TV presenter has taken fashion to new heights with his show ‘Gok’s Fashion Fix.’ This fantastic show which airs on Channel 4 reveals all the secrets of how to get that designer look on a low budget thanks to the high street fashion.
However, some viewers may disagree with this and find that Gok has overpowered his show with his own opinions on fashion. While others may dislike the way in which those he dresses on the show are sometimes forced to wear the outfits he has created.
Despite a few glitches in Gok’s show I have taken great inspiration from his work and have gathered the perfect high street look to match a key summer 2013 trend as seen in Vogue.
Floral Tribute by Vogue

In this seasons’ Vogue, Dolce & Gabbana, Simone Rocha and Moschino have gone 3D with floral! The model Ingrid Hass (on the left) walks down the catwalk with this striking combination of bold, nautical stripes and 3D flowers. This extravagant creation has dominated the summer season and it has influenced many other designers to go wild on the thought of infusing more garments with 3D flowers.
Although the 3D floral dress is a unique invention, many of you may not feel confident to step out in it. Well not to worry, because I have created a perfect subtle version of this outfit by choosing garments available on the high street and all on a low budget.

I have combined a beautiful brink pink 3D flower embroidered sleeveless top from New Look with a trendy high-waisted multi-colour skirt from Zara, and for all those curvaceous ladies this skirt will be perfect for you. To complete this combination of colourful flowers and 3D flowers I have added in a pair of ravishing patent nude heels and a matching clutch bag to complete the look.
And there we have it, an amazing outfit ready for high summer 2013 – all put together for only £70! Now we can all feel like we have walked straight off the catwalk!
