Sass & Bide to Show at NYFW

The Australian brand explained the move by saying they are looking to focus their attention on the US market. The brand has usually showcase at London Fashion Week, however their S/S 14 collection, entitled ‘Freetown’ will be presented in New York by the design duo behind the brand – Sarah-Jane Clarke and Heidi Middleton.

Clarke commented further on the move saying, “our focus is very much on the US market right now, so making the decision to show in New York felt right.” The brand recently opened their first international flagship store in NYC, Soho this year, which had been “a long-held dream”.

To help make a big impression in New York this season, the label has enrolled a strong support team of big names to assist behind the scenes, including stylist Vanessa Traina, make-up artist Charlotte Tilbury and model casters Babara Nicoli and Leila Ananna, who have previously cast models for the catwalks of Burberry, Gucci and Balenciaga.
