President of the fashion house, Rodrigo Bazan spoke of Collins new appointment into the role, saying “we are looking forward to having Colleen on board in a full-time role.” In a statement told to WWD, Bazan went onto say that it was perfect timing for the brand to bring in someone with her industry knowledge and background expertise to help in boosting the labels global business strategy, logistics and human resources. Colleen, who in the past worked at Diane von Furstenburg for 20 years has a proven track record in growing organisations and corporate strategy joined Alexander Wang in February, taking on a consulting role.
