Miu Miu Relocates

The Milan based brand, Miu Miu is moving to the Prada French offices, the Rue Matignon. The office space recently underwent a huge reorganisation to allow the Miu Miu team of 20 to move in, leaving only the design team in Milan.
The move follows Miu Miu’s plans to transform from the Prada secondary line to a completely separate luxury house. CEO Patrizio Bertelli has plans to expand the Italian label further, which is currently sold in 133 stores globally.
Miu Miu, which launched in 1993, is fast becoming one of the big names in fashion, with recorded sales at just under 256million from January to July of last year alone.
The label was launched to be the creative, younger label of Prada, allowing the designers more creative freedom, while still targeting the ‘sophisticated woman, who is highly sensitive to new trends’.
