New L1 Courses
Our intensive 6 week courses are aimed at students with a passion for fashion production. You may already have some skills or be a complete beginner.
The courses are taught through a series of technical demonstrations and workshop activities. You will have the opportunity for peer work and personalised teaching as well.
You will produce a portfolio of work that will be assessed at the end of the course. You will need to be present for the final assessment to complete the qualification.

- Hand pressing and sewn products
- Principles of fabric cutting
- Introduction to finishing procedures for sewn products
- Fabric laying
- Fabric inspection
- Industrial apparel machine maintenance
- Using industrial sewing machines
- Health and safety in the workroom
L2 Apprenticeships in Apparel
These are 12 month apprenticeships in apparel. You will work in a company four days per week and spend one day per week in training at Fashion Enter’s The Factory.
You will produce portfolios of work to gain a Level 2 Certificate in Manufacturing Sewn Products (NVQ) and a Level 2 Certificate in Apparel, Footwear, Leather or Textile Production.
