After several months of meetings and discussions we are delighted to confirm that LLEP (Leicester and Leicestershire Enterprise Partnership Area) has awarded Fashion Enter training contracts throughout 2018 working with the local garment manufacturers to improve their productivity and efficiency. There will be three workshops between January 2018 and April 2018 and they will be hard hitting and specific to KPI’s that every garment manufacturer should be operating.

Fashion Enter/FashionCapital CEO, Jenny Holloway, commented: “The latest statistics clearly show that fast-track production is now here to stay within the dynamic fashion industry. Retailers are ready capitalise on providing the right products in the right prints at affordable prices and the UK is the only way to cater for this instant demand required by consumers today. The days of two seasons a year Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter with transitional ranges in between all have long gone. Rolling ranges of the order of the day where assertive buyers will keep extending the life of a garment by bringing in new lengths, colours,  prints etc. We are delighted that we have won this contract with Leicester and look forward to working closely with the manufacturers.”

In The Press This past week Drapers Record reported on Fashion Enter’s appointment as the preferred training provider for the Savile Row Bespoke Association. ABC Awards Approved The Fashion Technology Academy (FTA) has once again received an ABC Awards Quality Licence Scheme for its CPPD (Continued Professional and Personal Development) classes. Auditor Julia Stokes spent three hours at FTA HQ thoroughly reviewing all aspects of the CPPD courses we provide in our unique, live factory environment. Farewell to Vicky Clarke at Haringey Council Jenny Holloway comments: “It is with genuine sadness that Vicky is leaving LBHC – she has been an outstanding Assistant Director in Economic Development & Growth and her vision for Haringey has been incredibly forward thinking. An excellent strategist Vicky has supported our  joint aims of bringing quality manufacturing back to Haringey. Haringey has had the highest growth sector of employment in manufacturing last year. You were spot on Vicky! We shall all miss you.”

Quality Fast Fashion Lecture Our very own CEO of FashionCapital & Fashion Enter, Jenny Holloway, will be the guest speaker at The Textile Institutes ‘Quality Fast Fashion’ Roy Godden Lecture to be held at the Rootstein Hopkins Space at the London College of Fashion on Tuesday 16th January 2018 –  6.30pm Drinks Reception followed by the lecture.
