The Fashion Fix – 15th December 2018

Each week brings another delivery of fashion-filled news, enveloping an amalgam of industry whereabouts and covetable styles that have been currently trending.

This week has been a busy one for the fashion pack, where on Monday members of the world of style and elite guests alike assembled to celebrate The Fashion Awards 2018 in partnership with Swarovski. The last five days has also seen Keira Knightley adorned in Chanel Couture, where the actress received her OBE at the palace. And we put our best foot forward in the best winter boots to be seen in this season.

 The Fashion industry were out in full force and in all their dazzling finery on Monday evening, where guests included Dame Vivienne Westwood, HRH The Duchess of Sussex, David and Victoria Beckham amongst many more influencers who gathered to acclaim The Fashion Awards 2018.

A recognition of pioneering global creative talent transpired at this year’s awards and some of the winners included Pierpaolo Piccioli for Valentino (Designer of the Year), Kaia Gerber (Model of the Year) and Dame Vivienne Westwood (Swarovski Award for Positive Change).

Chanel advocate Keira Knightley receives OBE

Actress Keira Knightley has been to latest recipient to receive an OBE, a prestigious milestone endeavour that she was awarded this week for her participation to drama and charity. Synonymous for her role in the hugely popular ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ films, Keira wore a lemon tweed two-piece by Chanel Couture (naturally), featuring a cinched-in waist adorned with a pink belt, a blouse featuring black ribbon detailing and finished with a boater hat to perfectly coordinate.

Being a long-standing ambassador for Chanel, it came as little surprise that Knightley selected the iconic French fashion house to adorn herself in for the momentous occasion. She has favoured to dress in Chanel for an amalgam of momentous occasions, including non-other than her wedding day gown.
