Location: The Fashion Studio
Lan became interested in fashion from a young age and once she had completed her GCSE’s, she studied Fashion with Technology at The London College of Fashion, following that she graduated from The University of East London with a First Class Honours in Fashion with Marketing. It was during her course, and having showcased her collection at Graduate Fashion Week and the V&A that she was drawn to the technical side of the fashion industry.
Her first job was as a creative pattern cutter for a high street supplier for the likes of the Arcadia group, BHS and TU Clothing. Having gained the technical skills, Lan then worked for a London based fashion brand as a designer and pattern cutter for over 8 years. Lan worked extensively with their factories, designing 2 collections a year, pattern cutting and overseeing their Made in UK range.
