contrasting the most erratic lifestyle with the sensual calming curves of a

running river.  Marijoli breathes life into world of contemporary jewellery

design and questions our understanding of the genre.





Designer of Marijoli, Marielle Byworth grew up outside Neuchatel in the

beautiful surroundings of Switzerland’s rural countryside. Her studies took her from Lausanne, to Geneva, to Milan, to New York and London.  After

completing a degree in Industrial Design and a year’s work in a graphic

design agency, she moved to London to join her husband’s family business,

the well established Byworth & Co.  She now finds herself in Tokyo designing

her well sought after contemporary creations.
