Stitching Academy graduate and Level 3 in-house apprentice, Shana Tekila has been featured in the Haringey People magazine.
With a dedicated full page spread to Shana, she talks us through being an apprentice today and learning the fashion trade through hands-on working experience.
An aspiring designer it was from taking part in the Stitching Academy in collaboration with ASOS.com that Shana realised university just wasn’t the right route for her in progressing her career.
“I’d really recommend an apprenticeship as you get taught skills and have a qualification at the end of it.”
