Fashion Stylist Nikita Thakkar

Internationally renowned Fashion Stylist Nikita M Thakkar embarks on fashion as a career for women in a seminar organized by SGCCI, Surat.

 Nikita Thakkar, a Fashion Stylist and an MBA from University of East London UK was cordially invited from Mumbai to Surat in Gujarat by a government affiliated establishment SGCCI (Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and industry) to address the upcoming designers in India regarding the scope, pros and cons in perusing Fashion as a career.

It is rightly said that clothes reflects ones personality and this was enthralled among the audience by means of a presentation by Nikita, dedicated solely on various aspects on Fashion.

Among the invitees were Mr. Nilesh V Mandalewala Prisedent, SGCCI and Mrs. Anjali Shah, Jewellery Designer, the youngest chair person of SGCCI, who highlighted that fashion is eternal generations after generations and Nikita being a successful entrepreneur at an early age would be the best guide for the future aspirants. Also present at the event were South Gujarat Productive Council, Secretary Dr Bandana Bhattacharya and Mrs Tasneem Khairullah. Faculties from various institutions like NIFD, NIFT and F STUDIOS STERS were also present.    

 Apart from Fashion designing Nikita also emphasized upon various aspects of styling draping, accessories designing, Fashion photography, fashion journalism highlighting Fashion Capital UK, fashion choreography, along with the accomplishment of complete bridal trousseau.            

Nikita says ”˜In this competitive world women do not lack, stand in various career fields. In this glamorous world one should have a blend of various related fields of fashion. She stressed upon the fact that Fashion today doesn’t limit to just garment but various other field where a creative mind can work.’

Nikita concluded that, “Today’s generation must coincide once attire with the necessary accessories always keeping one’s tradition in mind”
