NHS & PPE

CEO of Fashion-Enter Ltd Jenny Holloway comments:

“There have been many unsung heroes during this uncertain time – one of them is ASOS.com who paid for 300 scrubs to be sent to the Imperial College (here is a picture of the staff wearing them) and also actress Thandie Newton who also donated scrubs. However awful Covid-19 has been it has actually brought out the true colours of some remarkable people and organisations. Thank you to Nick Beighton, Thandie, surgeon Sanjay and of course the team at Fashion-Enter that have made all of this possible.”

N17 Creative Callings Online Seminars

Last Thursday Nick Gould and co-partners at Aria Grace, Karin, Gemma and Lindsay, gave an insightful seminar on the legal requirements for small businesses. Key topics included: law of contract – how to stop disputes occurring, understanding IP infringement – what to do if someone “copies” your work, the difference between trade marks, copyright and passing off as well as employment contracts – responsibilities of ownership.

Nick commented: “The four of us greatly enjoyed our chat to (and with) so may people who were interested in starting a business and discussing some of the key legal issues to think about. There are still good reasons to start a business even in these very tough times. As ever the Q and A session threw out some useful and practical points. We are already looking forward to the next time.”

A full review of this seminar can be found here.
