Make Your Own Kimono Jacket

Alongside our extensive range of classes is a 1-day Make Your Own Kimono Jacket workshop with ‘Out of Stock Studio’ taking place Saturday 13th January.
Out of Stock Studio is a sustainable upcycling concept brand created by industry-professional Nim. This 1-day class includes:
The choice from a variety of luxury fabrics (denim from Candiani and Evlox, twills and canvas from UK mill Brisbane Moss)
Pick your size (XS through to XL)
Pick your pocket details and thread colours
Please note this class is not suitable for complete beginners, however if you can sew in a straight line, you’ll be fine. Plus, Nim can help you with any tricky bits).

Fashion Studio Sampling

Fashion Studio staff have begun work on samples that will be gracing the catwalks at the upcoming New York and London Fashion Week’s. The Fashion Studio team can also support with first patterns, toiling, seals, grades and short run production, they really are a truly talented bunch that can make anything from dramatic gowns to delicate lingerie.

Repair Certainly is the New Cool

The factory re-opened this week to be greeted with piles of repairs for the United Repair Centre team. These high quality repairs ensure garment longevity along with genuine long-term brand > customer relationships to encourage tangible solutions to consumerism and waste.

Excellent Feedback from CANDI Curriculum Monitoring Visit
On the 23rd November 2023 the Fashion Technology Academy (FTA) based at Fashion-Enter Ltd’s HQ in Haringey received a curriculum monitoring visit from City and Islington College. Fashion-Enter and the FTA have been working with CANDI to deliver practical experience within their Level 1 and 2 fashion, business and textile courses.
The CANDI visit outcome for “assessed risk” was graded as Low risk.
The report stated that the reasons for this outcome were:
‘Fashion-Enter Ltd has an ideal offer in terms of the dual-purpose location visited in Haringey. The benefits were clear throughout the visit of the links to the live working environment, continually updated modern industry technology and equipment, excellent on-site teaching and learning facilities and a forward-thinking leadership team.’
