Time to Take Responsibility

FashionCapital Newsletter

18th April 2018
Dear all,
As individuals and as cogs in the fashion industry’s wheels we all have the opportunity to make a difference – no matter how small. Right now buzzwords like ‘circular economy’, ‘sustainability’, ‘fashion footprint’ and ‘considered purchases’ frequent the media so how can we incorporate healthy practises throughout our industry?

IT ALL STARTS WITH THE SELF

Sometimes we need help when it comes to finding that right path and decision-making. For several years established Life & Business Coach, Eric Gilston has been providing FashionCapital with his tips and motivation to achieve positive life and work skills. To view Eric’s posts go to ‘Advice & Support.’

Following on from this he will be coming in to FC HQ in North London to give a Masterclass on “How to Motivate Yourself to Success.” Scheduled for Thursday 10th May Eric will share his techniques to provide clarity and unlock true potential. To express an interest in this Masterclass please contact info@fashioncapital.co.uk

LISTEN & LEARN FROM THE EXPERTS

After several decades in the business we have built up some valuable contacts, some of which are generous enough to give up their time to share their experience and knowledge. Tomorrow (Thursday 19th April) we have not one, but two leading experts not to miss.

First up Caren Downie, one of the most influential women in British fashion, is back to deliver a ‘How to Build a Successful Brand’ Masterclass – essential for any growing fashion business. Taking place from 3pm – 5pm, capacity is limited please click here to find out more and book.

FC Fashion MeetUp #3

Caren’s Masterclass will be swiftly followed by our third FC Fashion MeetUp, a free informal networking event for designers, brands and fashion entrepreneurs to meet, have a drink, network and to hear exclusive insight from a special guest speaker.

Buying Controller from River Island, Tina Baum, will be our industry expert, with a career spanning 38-years, to join our CEO, Jenny Holloway, for the Big Black Sofa Conversation.

FC FashionMeetUp #3 takes place Thursday 19th April 2018 from 17.00 to 20.00

Please RSVP to reserve your place: info@fashioncapital.co.uk
