On the Right Track

Yesterday, 11th October, Fashion-Enter Ltd’s CEO, Jenny Holloway was invited to speak on a panel at the ASBCI’s Fashion Re:set Summit 2022. The conference highlighted the need for the industry to adapt and implement buy-to-demand and lean strategies. Discussion at the Summit confirmed that investment in new technology and the micro factory concept is on the right track to ensure a prosperous future.

Jenny said: “The old way of buying is dead and it’s time for retailers to stop the waste in their supply chain and buy-to-demand. We’ve had the micro factory set up for almost a year now thanks to Kornit Digital and Zund and trials are just about to go through. Thank-you to ASBCI for inviting Fashion-Enter Ltd to speak, thanks to the people I met who were truly inspiring in the work they’re undertaking and here’s to a new future!”

And Finally…

One of our Stitching learners, pictured here with Jenny Holloway, recently lost her mother, who was laid to rest on Monday 10th October. Instead of flowers friends and family were encouraged to donate to the plant a tree fund, this can be done via the National Trust website: Plant a tree to help nature thrive or as a gift l UK | National Trust The team at the FC Designer Workspace thought this was a lovely idea and would like to support with a donation and mention of this program in the newsletter as a way of celebrating someone special.

Until next time, have a great week.
