Announcing: Sew We Learn Summer Camp!
Four-day course Monday – Thursday 10am – 4pm for 11 – 18 year olds – £75 (minimum of 10 per class). Make your own party dress or stylish T-shirt! From beginners to advanced this fun, interactive course will teach you how to make your own clothes.
Learn how to create a garment from start to finish including:
Research and design
Fabrics
Pattern cutting
Garment construction
Machine sewing
Embellishment
Zip insertion.
At the end of the four-day course you will be presented with a certificate of completion and have a photo taken wearing your very own garment!

Dates include:
Week 1: 23rd – 26th July
Week 2: 30th July – 2nd August
Week 3: 6th August – 9th August
Week 4: 13th August – 16th August
Week 5: 20th August – 23rd August
Week 6: 28th August – 31st August (note bank holiday Monday)

Advanced Stitching Course This Weekend

This weekend Leyla will be teaching Advanced Stitching over 2-days, a highly informative course where learners are guaranteed to leave with newfound skills in garment construction. Learn how to fuse, make jetted pockets, button plackets, double yokes and lots more.

On the 23rd and 24th July a two-day digital pattern making course will take place at the Fashion Technology Academy with Vetigraph. Want to see how Vetigraph can benefit your pattern making skills then watch this short YouTube video.

Fashion Studio Assistant Required
Job in a million! Studio Assistant role available here at Fashion Enter. A fantastic opportunity in our expanding Fashion Studio that offers pattern cutting, sampling, and small run production has opened up. There is nothing we cannot do in our Fashion Studio so you’ll be working with lots of different garments from swimwear to tailoring.
We know we are a quirky company, which combines a design/pattern room, large fully compliant UK Factory working for ASOS.com, Finery, Tesco and M&S and The Fashion Studio, creating high-end designer garments and small run production.
We are additionally a recognized ESFA approved showcase center of excellence for training and development which covers short courses, apprenticeships, CPPD and introduction to pattern cutting and stitching courses from level 1 to 5.
The Studio Assistant will be working alongside the Studio Manager, Jenny Beth, and assisting a very talented team of cutters, machinists and quality control. Masterclasses Taking Place Next Week
The common sense lawyer with mismatch shoes, AKA Nick Gould, will be holding his popular Legal Eagle Masterclass on Tuesday 17thJuly covering all those key legal points you need to know to operate your fashion business. Nick will be advising on the following core topics: Paper trails, Agency, Distribution, Contract of employment and Section 1 statement and will block out 15 minutes of “free” advice and support for any designers that may need his services after the seminar closes at 1pm.

Fashion Studio Summer Break Closing Dates
The Fashion Studio will be closed from Monday 6th August for 2 weeks and reopening on Monday 20th August. Pre-booked pattern cutting and sampling will continue during this period and pre-booked production will be running on skeleton staff also during this period. Please be aware, there will be no point of contact for the studio and fit meetings will be booked in prior to closure through Jenny-Beth and Sophie.
