Summer of Sewing with Fashion-Enter
As students up and down the land take their well-earned breaks from education FEL’s Fashion Technology Academy is offering up a range of 1-day and 4-day courses that will either begin or progress your clothes making journey. All of our summer courses, based in Islington and Haringey, have been listed below, but that’s not all. For those that know how and would like to spend time using the fully equipped FC Designer Workspace in Islington we can now offer rental places.
The Workspace includes: Pattern Cutting Table, Flatbed Machines, Overlocker Machines, Babylocker Machines and Button Machine.
If you are an ex-student, designer, freelancer, experienced sewer, industrial machine user then the space, during the academic summer break, is yours to rent.
Prices:
£10 plus VAT/hour (3 Hours min)
£65 plus VAT/day (8 Hours max)
£275 plus VAT/week

This morning, Director Claire Solley gave a free, 1-hour masterclass via Zoom on Crafting a Powerful Business Plan. As a social enterprise, we pride ourselves on supporting and advising startup brands to ensure they are business-ready.
Claire commented: “Starting a business plan can be a daunting task, particularly in the creative sector. It was great to see and engage with so many startup brands and hear about their exciting ventures.”
Feedback included: “The information given during the class was brilliant. As a startup brand, I was really struggling to construct my business plan. It was great to talk this through with Claire and have discussions with all of the participants.”
