Visitors at Haringey HQ

Each week we welcome individuals to our HQ in Haringey for tours, seminars and factory learning experiences. Last we it was the turn of Buying and Merchandising degree students from the Fashion Retail Academy, followed by four NEXT apprentices learning all about the fashion supply chain along with Quality Assurance Procedures, AI and more.

The feedback from these visits has been excellent and included:

“I have learnt about production, costing, lead times, AI, speed to market, repairs, pattern cutting, far shore, near shore, MOQ, sustainability, sourcing. Loved it!!”

“I gained an incredible overview of the production process, and seeing how it could change in the future with AI. A great speaker who communicated all this in a clear and concise way.”

This Week on FashionCapital…

Will the Latest National Procurement Policy Statement Truly Support UK Manufacturers?

We Are Splitting The Costs With You!

As you are aware there is a new minimum price increase from 1st April. It’s a 6.7% increase. We pay our staff more than the minimum wage but this base line increase has a ripple effect on all salaries.

Therefore, we will be increasing our Fashion Studio prices by £1 as of 1st April 2025.

Sampling will increase from £32 per hour to £33 per hour.

Patterns will increase from £35 per hour to £36 per hour.

These prices are ex-VAT

We are sorry that we have to increase the prices but we are really trying to keep the costs to a minimum for you!

Thank you for your understanding and we wish you a good season ahead.

Until next time, have a great week.

From the Team at FashionCapital
