End-of-Line Sale
Throughout the month of August we’re opening our doors and selling off our end-of-lines. These are all quality fabric garments made for the high street and perfect for upcycling and repurposing. We want to do our bit!

Prices will all be low and at least 50% off cost price. All fabrics guaranteed to pass commercial tests. Stock is available on a first come first served basis. We are open Monday – Friday (No Saturdays) from 10:00 – 16:00. The sale starts tomorrow, Thursday 11th August until Wednesday 31st August.

For Stitching and Patterns courses commencing 5th September visit Fashion Technology Academy HQ in Haringey to enrol on the following dates:
Level 1 or 2 in Stitching 16th August
Level 1 or 2 in Patterns 10th or 31st August

Summer Special 1 Week Courses
We are running 1-week summer stitching courses in Leicester and Islington for beginners. If you would like to learn how to operate a sewing machine, practice your stitches, how to create sleeves, understand how to make a garment from a pattern and lots more, then this is perfect for you.
Look at the brilliant garments that the Leicester learners on the first week of the course were able to make – all in just 5-days!
The course costs £75+VAT and runs throughout August Mon – Fri 10am – 3pm at the FCFTA Leicester or from 30th August – 2nd September at the FC Designer Workspace in Islington.

Hashtag Made IV Me Launch Event
Last Friday 5th August, the FC Designer Workspace held a launch event for the Hashtag Made IV Me label supported by Diva Choice. Free Curtain Making Workshop for 16 – 25 Year Olds
We are working with Islington Council to offer a free 3-day curtain making workshop at the Workspace from 22nd, 23rd and 24th August. The aim is to teach young people how to design and make the curtains for West Library in Islington, then following the workshop a local business will be commissioned to manufacture the curtains!
