GFF & TikTok Residencies Return to the FTA
Last summer, 2020, the Graduate Fashion Foundation (GFF) teamed up with TikTok to provide selected fashion graduates with a unique residency. Based at the Fashion Technology Academy’s (FTA) Tailoring Academy, the students spent 5-days learning all about design for manufacturing, CAD, grading, commercial patterns, production lines and quality control whilst producing their own TikTok brand merchandise designs.
The FTA team are thrilled to announce that we will be supporting the TikTok /GFF Residency once again with our state-of-the-art premises, equipment and experienced tutors. 60 newly graduated designers from GFF UK member universities have been selected as winners to participate in one of two 5-day creative TikTok residencies at the FTA during July.
Watch this space as we will report from the residencies and showcase the graduate’s designs in the coming weeks.
#HigherEducationDay – Learn In-Demand Industry Skills
Higher Education Day takes place this week and Fashion Enter is an ardent supporter of education for all. At the Fashion Technology Academy (FTA) we offer a broad range of fashion related courses, CPPD’s and workshops to fulfil those skilled employment gaps often found in the fashion production sector. Whether you are an absolute beginner, a fashion design student in need of construction understanding, or you need to upskill with new technology – we have a selection of accredited courses to choose from.
The FTA is also extremely pleased to include a range of Tailoring courses. If you would like to learn and gain skills in hand tailoring, pattern cutting and construction techniques to create a tailored jacket and trousers across a flexible 12-week course then contact: education@fashion-enter.com

New Apprenticeship Position

Diva Choice, stocked at the FC Designer Collective, is hosting a Sip n Shop experience at our Fonthill Road store. Taking place on Saturday 3rd July 12 – 5pm, customers can pop by for music, cocktails and cupcakes while browsing the latest designs. FC Member: Cerci Equestrian Launching this Month
