Derry Designers to Visit London
On 13th February we will welcome the 10 designers who successfully ‘pitched to the panel’ at the Derry Designer Business Startup Workshops.
Each designer will have the opportunity to showcase their collection at the next FC Fashion Meet-up! More on the selected 10 soon. |

FC Meet Up #2
After a highly successful FC Meet Up #1 with Caren Downie our second instalment, due to take place on the 13th February from 6pm, will see Shailina Parti, Buying & Merchandising Director at Jigsaw deliver her personal industry insight along with an informal Q&A.

Inspirational Christopher Nieper
Thank-you Christopher Nieper for our visit on Monday to your factory – David Nieper at Alfreton in Derbyshire. The long established manufacturer employs over 250 people for the in-house mail order business. Set up by David who we had the pleasure of meeting, the 5-hour site visit was inspirational.

Jenny Holloway Guest Speaker at the Textile Institute Lecture
Last night our very own CEO Jenny Holloway was invited to speak at the annual Roy Godden Lecture organised by the Textile Institute at the Rootstein Hopkins Space at the London College of Fashion. Jenny comments:
“Thank-you for asking me to attend. I decided to give a personal insight and review of how the company started along with the next steps for Fashion Enter. Lots of questions were asked which were very poignant for today’s fashion industry. Super people and an enjoyable evening!”

Factory Visits and CPPD’s
Our North London HQ has been bustling with visitors this week all wanting to learn about British garment manufacturing and the many stages of the garment life cycle. This week we’ve had the Creative Coast’s fashion and textiles creative cluster from Donegal, Ireland (pictured left), the Fashion Retail Academy and employees from M&S gain firsthand factory experience.
