FashionCapital Newsletter
21st March 2018

Dear all,

As previously announced we are going forward with the exciting development of a Tailoring Academy on a site neighbouring the FashionCapital and Fashion Technology Academy HQ in North London. Nick Keyte, managing director, from Gieves & Hawkes wrote a superb letter of support, additionally he enrolled three Level 5 students on to the apprenticeship scheme with us! What commitment this shows to develop a new generation of master tailors. The three Level 5 apprentices are:

1.       Keiichi Inakura
2.       Oliver Spencer
3.       Mike Deans

Jenny Holloway, CEO of Fashion Enter Ltd and the FTA comments: “We are incredibly proud to be working with Savile Row Bespoke tailor Gieves & Hawkes. We now have three highly talented apprentices enrolled on to the Level 5 standard. It has been an absolute joy and pleasure to work with Nick Keyte, Managing Director, who has been thoroughly professional throughout the entire apprenticeship process. Thank-you Nick for all your support.”

FTA Matrix Audit

FashionCapital’s sister company, Fashion Enter Ltd and its Fashion Technology Academy (FTA), centres on learning and educational development in the fashion sector, and now after a thorough assessment process is pleased to have successfully passed Matrix accreditation. The Matrix Standard is the unique quality framework for organisations to assess and measure their information, advice and/or guidance services, which ultimately supports individuals in their choice of career, learning, work and life goals.

Helen Walczak, Director M&Co, commented: “I have worked with Jenny and the team at Fashion Enter for the last three years and always found them to be very honourable and honest. Their information, advice and guidance at all levels in education has been of the highest quality because quite simply they care. They want to see genuine success for us the employer and the student. I believe these courses set students up to join the workforce with fantastic industrial knowledge and experience. Congratulations on the Tailoring Academy too. Great news for us all!”

This Week on FashionCapital.co.uk

Instagram has just launched Shopping in the UK, which allows businesses to tag products in their organic posts and for people to seamlessly shop them.

Fashion Enter strives to create the best learning experience possible so feedback forms are always issued after every course or CPPD, and as you can see the comments and the high score ratings speak for themselves.

If the Autumn/Winter 18/19 collections taught us anything, it was to embrace our inner empowering qualities and look towards the future. One particular trend that depicted this – silver – providing autumn with a streak of Sci-Fi.

More from the FashionCapital team next time. Until then we wish you a great week!
