Fashion District London Launch

The start of week saw the launch of Fashion District, a very exciting collaborative initiative that is set to make London the global capital for fashion education, design and innovation, and we are pleased to say that we are very much involved. Today Tech. Transforming Retail Together

This morning our CEO will be joining the likes of Janice Wang, CEO of Alvanon, to speak at Tech. The 2-day festival by Retail Week and World Retail Congress that covers all areas of digital retailing and the technology involved. The programme is bursting with industry experts, one of which is our very own CEO, her topic will cover: High-Tech Innovation, Robotics & Digitalization and how brands can pick up the pace of production cycles.

Fashion Studio Client of the Week: Asmuss

The Fashion Studio team have been busy producing garments ready to show during London Fashion Week, which kicks off this Friday. One such client is Asmuss, which will be launching at the LDC London Fashion Week Immersive Shopping Experience at 59 Greek St in Soho. The Asmuss collection will be available in-store from Monday 17th until the 23rd September, open from 10am-7pm daily. Plus there is a celebration and VIP Shopping night on the 17th from 6pm to 9pm to launch the collection. To register for this free event click here. Or pop by during opening hours and support independent fashion!

See You At Fashions Finest This Weekend

This weekend 15th and 16th September we will have a stand at Fashions Finest, an industry platform for up and coming fashion talent coinciding with London Fashion Week. Alongside the exhibition and catwalk shows we will be on hand to offer focused advice on all things production; from sampling to small runs, all questions are welcome. See you there: De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms, 61 – 65 Great Queen Street, Holborn, London, WC2B 5DA. 15th and 16th September 1pm – 8pm.

Apprenticeship Post of the Week

An apprenticeship opportunity with high-end designer brand Erdem is available for an enthusiastic team member who would like to gain experience of working within the brand’s Production Department.

Fashion Enter at Hidden River Festival

Taking place this Saturday 15th September the Hidden River Festival is an annual community focused event that brings together local organisations and the community. Along with live music, creative workshops and entertainment there will be food stalls and information booths, one of which will be occupied by Fashion Enter. Esme and the team will be on hand to advise on all the services and learning opportunities that Fashion Enter provides. The Hidden River Festival is a free event showcasing the extraordinary local community.
