Fashion Academy Gets £150k Boost from Etailer

Exciting times at Fashion-Enter we have so much to tell you about! Leicester’s manufacturing hub has been positioned under a negative media spotlight of late, undermining the many compliant and well-established manufacturers in the area. Following on from last month’s announcement regarding the opening of the FC Fashion Technology Academy (Leicester) by accredited training provider Fashion-Enter Ltd, we have additionally secured investment of £150,000 from the popular fashion etailer ‘I Saw It First.’

Jenny Holloway said: “During this Covid period, etailers have experienced buoyant sales and have therefore seen the benefits of making in the UK; one such company is I Saw It First, which already has strong links to Leicester.”

Leanne Holmes, Buying and Brand Director at I Saw It First added: “We wholeheartedly support the garment industry in Leicester. We want to help train the next generation of skilled garment machinists so that the UK industry can thrive, providing much-needed jobs, especially for young people who have been hit so hard by the damaging effects of Covid on the UK jobs market.”

With this investment the aim is to provide vital support for existing manufacturers in compliance and policies alongside training the next generation of skilled garment machinists and technicians.

If you believe it, you will be it. It sounds simple, but with Eric’s expert advice everyone ended the session on a high truly believing they could achieve their goals. Thank you Eric!
