Elsewhere we take a look at the retail and financial impact Halloween has on the UK economy, according to a new Mintel report, the prediction is that folk will fork out £419 million on Halloween this year, a fantastically frightening figure that has increased by 5% from last year’s £400 million. To find out more click here.

The Latest from Our CEO…

CEO Jenny Holloway comments: “The team have been as busy as ever, orders are up and today we are hosting an in-house CPPD for a cohort from River Island. Yesterday I had a great meeting with the EEF, thank you George Hollingbery, MP Minister of State for Trade Policy, Department for International Trade. Chatham House rules apply but credit to the Minister for such an open and frank discussion.

“I also wanted to mention Jim Armitage’s Open Letter regarding apprenticeships. Jim was spot on; insightful and accurate. Check the Evening Standard for more on this, I am in total agreement – apprenticeships are about delivering a sterling quality training provision that we should all be proud of.”
