2025 Goals
The beginning of a new year is often a time for reflection, resolutions and goal setting. Here at FashionCapital we are in the unique position to provide expert advice from individuals that have decades of industry experience.
FEL / FashionCapital CEO Jenny Holloway has offered up her personal account of why and how she made the bold move to work for herself, read all about it here: https://www.fashioncapital.co.uk/…/do-you-have-what-it…/ and click through the PowerPoint to review how to work for yourself and if this is right choice for you.
In need of more insight into a career in the fashion industry? Then please join our free, Zoom masterclass Breaking into Fashion: Myths, Realities, and Roadmaps, where Jenny will discuss career options and pathways in the world of fashion with the chance to ask questions at the end. Register for your free place and a Zoom link will be emailed to you closer to the date.
London Councillors to Visit FEL as Part of the One World Living Series
On Monday 20th January, our HQ doors in Haringey will be open to councillors across all London boroughs for a One World Living site visit. The councillors will see firsthand how FEL has pivoted the business and partnered with the United Repair Centre to create an environmentally-aware business model.
Within less than 5 years the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change IPCC states that we need to collectively cut emissions by at least 45 per cent compared to 2010 levels. All sectors, including fashion and textiles, need to seriously review and take action.
15 councils have already confirmed attendance, for further enquiries regarding this site visit, e-mail: mike.wood@londoncouncils.gov.uk

This year there will be a 100% increase in participation of Young Adults engaging on creating their own fashion items. The three month program provides wrap around support from both FEL and lead clinician Dr Nina Brown from Haringey’s Mental Health Trust.
Previous Hope-FX participant James commented: “Without this opportunity, I am certain I would not have been willing to show the world what type of man I’m truly capable of being, I can’t thank Hope-FX enough for awaking this gift within me.”
