FEL Nominated for Prestigious Industry Award

Just one week until the Drapers Sustainable Fashion Conference & Awards 2024 and Fashion-Enter Ltd has been named as a finalist!

The Drapers Sustainable Fashion Awards launched in 2021 to recognise the strides that are being made in reducing the industry’s environmental impact and creating fairer working conditions across the supply chain. Judged by an independent panel of experts and underpinned by the United Nations-backed Sustainable Development Goals, this pioneering awards programme shines a spotlight on best practice within the industry, so others can learn how to change for good.

The Conference and Awards will take place at Hilton London Bankside on Wednesday 13 March, and Fashion-Enter Ltd has made the final shortlist for ‘Best Social Enterprise or Charity Initiative’

Fingers and toes crossed for us next Wednesday, the competition to get this far was extremely tough, so a big congratulations to the FEL team!

Providing Hope and Opportunity

The FEL team would like to congratulate all the participants that took part in the first Hope-FX initiative. Each participant has had sales from their capsule range at the FC Designer Collective shop and is delighted with the programme.

We’re now waiting on a meeting with North London Mental Health Partnership next week for next steps with this initiative. Isn’t it amazing what a little bit of Hope can do!

Participant James said: “Once again I’d like to thank-you for the amazing opportunity you’ve given me in exploring how far I can take my creativity. You’ve inspired me to keep the ball rolling and pursue this success further and create a business out of this chance. If not for you I wouldn’t have thought myself capable of such entrepreneurship, you have my gratitude.”

Level 3 – The Creatives Launch Party

This Friday 8th March we will be celebrating the final designs from the first cohort of the Level 3 Diploma in Creative Practice, Fashion Design and Business. The launch will take place at the FC Designer Collective shop on Fonthill Road, where the students items will be showcased and available to buy.

The FTA runs the Level 3 course in conjunction with Capital City College Group and as with a real working project the aim is to research, create, market and sell a mini collection, seeing the entire process through.

The course has gone so well that Capital City College Group and FEL are enrolling for the next cohort to start 22nd April. This 1-year course is limited to 20 spaces, tap here to find out more and to apply.

If you would like to see the students designs or other pieces by local Islington based designers please pop by the FC Designer Collective shop, 113-115 Fonthill Road, London N4 – opening times: Tuesday – Saturday 10:00 – 17:00
