FashionCapital Newsletter
7th February 2018

Dear all,

Anyone that’s been in the fashion business for long enough will tell you that ‘who you know’ and ‘who you work with’ can be just as important as ‘what you know’. Working as a team is an ethos we adhere to as a company as well as with the industry at large. This week we are excited to announce a collaboration with William Gee, a 111-year old business specialising in haberdashery supplies for the fashion manufacturing industry and domestic use. To find out more about this and William Gee click here.

Power Dressing Inspired

Well done to Sarah Hopkins who has gained a work experience placement with us here at FC HQ. Sarah displayed her passion for the fashion industry with her article on ‘Power Dressing Through the Decades’ and as a female owned business we constantly celebrate and encourage all women to achieve highly! 100 years since women won the right to vote and today #metoo continues to address gender equality, that glass ceiling is coming down!

And Finally…

Happy Birthday FTA technician May! She celebrated with the FTA tutors and students last week, who surprised her with a birthday luncheon and cake made by student – Coumba!

We are transparent and proud…come and visit us!

Until next time, have a fantastic week.

The Team at FashionCapital.
