Tatler Asia featured his collection and said: ‘Paris Fashion Week has long been regarded as a coveted stage for both emerging and established designers. Biannually, the best of the fashion community vie for the spotlight during one of the busiest weeks on the fashion calendar. This honour was recently bestowed upon John Herrera, who made his debut on this prestigious platform, unveiling his haute couture collection entitled ‘Femme a la Mode.’

John has previously showcased at London and Tokyo Fashion Week’s and has become renowned for his opulent evening wear and bridal gowns. Femme à la Mode, showcased his technical excellence and visionary design and the FTA team are thrilled that he can share his knowledge and expertise with their students.
John commented: “I am ecstatic with the reaction to my new collection just shown in Paris and being featured in Tatler.
“I pride myself on detail, high end skills and understand the importance of luxurious quality. I also care passionately about fashion and my teaching at the Fashion Technology Academy in Haringey and Islington. It has taken me years to develop my skills and now I want to help FashionCapital’s designers to be the best they can be by learning construction skills that will hone their craft.
“At the end of each month FashionCapital provides a free, online seminar and in April’s seminar I will be speaking with Jenny Holloway to discuss my career and how to help designers.”

Stay tuned—new workshops with John launch next week, covering illustration, draping, and pattern cutting!
