The Fashion Fix – The Fashion Collaboration

It’s officially the time of the fashion collaboration: with more brands partnering up than ever before, this week has revealed some truly exciting designer duos that we cannot wait to get our hands on!

This past week has unearthed the much anticipated new campaign imagery for H&M X Giambattista Valli’s forthcoming fashion adventure. Dubbed as possibly the most fashion-forward gym kit on the planet – Roksanda X Lululemon is set to reveal the 17-piece limited edition collection, whilst JW Anderson has teamed up with Uniqlo to design the perfect outdoor line-up, fashioned in a spectrum of rainbow brights.

H&M X Giambattista Valli

We may have to wait until 7th November when the collaborative collection hits our high street stores but this week we’ve been treated to the new campaign images of H&M X Giambattista Valli’s hugely anticipated partnership.

The campaign, shot by iconic fashion photographers Mert and Marcus, features none other than supermodel supreme Kendall Jenner, where she is seen amongst the collections key pieces including a striking fuchsia tulle gown and a tiger print suit. Other looks that have been revealed are a black embellished mini dress and a scarlet tulle number with a billowing train.

The countdown to 7th November is on!

Roksanda X Lululemon

Effortlessly marrying fashion and function, London-based Serbian designer Roksanda Ilinčić has partnered up with sportswear behemoth Lululemon to construct a 17-piece capsule collection of athleisurewear.

Roksanda has applied her signature striking, feminine style that sees clean lines and luxurious fabrics with the technically-driven innovative activewear of Lululemon – resulting in a collection of transitional pieces that go from ‘street-to-sweat’. Contemporary silhouettes amalgamated with Roksanda’s colour blocking can be identified throughout in the line’s yoga-inspired leggings, puffer jackets, crop tops, rash vests and midi skirts.

Available for purchase starting Oct 22, followed by the second drop in January 2020.

JW Anderson X Uniqlo

The forth fashion chapter of JW Anderson X Uniqlo launched this week, with the Autumn/Winter 2019 collection showered in a pouring of vivid hues and draws inspiration from Anderson’s train ride from London to St Ives in Cornwall.

Citing the concept of “the Great Outdoors”, it is arguably the designer duo’s strongest collection to date, featuring cosy Aran knits and other must-have pieces including tartan blanket skirts and cosy fleece jackets as well as cargo trousers that sit low on the hips and puffer jackets styled in scrumptious citrus shades.
