Repair & Upcycle Workshop at the FC Designer Workspace

After an overwhelmingly positive response to the first ‘Repair and Upcycle’ workshop, the team at the FC Designer Workspace on Durham Road in the London borough of Islington, were thrilled to announce the continuation of the free session on a monthly basis. The second workshop took place on Friday 20th May and this time those that were interested could book their place online.

At 10am, the team welcomed their first visitors who had brought an embellished maxi dress and a ton of jeans! Soon enough 10 attendees were in the Workspace receiving advice on how to start their upcycling projects. By 2pm, the team were working with individuals on a denim maxi skirt, beaded purple crop top, a deconstructed jacket and tailored denim shorts. Click here to see a video on the day.
