ReFAB Studio and Fashion – Enter Launch Community Upcycling Workshops to Transform Textile Waste into Green Skills and Creative Opportunities
09-02-2026
ReFAB Studio and Fashion-Enter Ltd / FashionCapital have joined forces to launch a new series of collaborative upcycling workshops, supported by the Clothworkers’ Company, designed to empower local communities through circular design, practical skill-building, and sustainable creativity.
This 12-workshop series, delivered across Fashion-Enter’s accessible London training spaces, builds on ReFAB Studio’s mission to transform interior textile waste into tools for education, empowerment and wellbeing. By working with community tailors and local learners, the programme offers hands-on upskilling in sewing, product design, and sustainable making while promoting confidence, creativity, and green careers.
Each session invites participants to repurpose luxury-grade reclaimed fabrics donated by ReFAB Studio’s network of interiors partners into beautiful lifestyle products such as cushions, accessories, and homewares. These are more than workshops; they’re spaces for connection, learning, and creative growth.
Rooted in a shared commitment to circularity and inclusive education, the collaboration between ReFAB Studio and Fashion-Enter responds to a growing demand for green skills and local action on textile waste. As textile production remains a major contributor to global emissions, this programme shows how offcuts can become an opportunity combining climate-conscious design with human-centred impact.
The initiative also recognises the emotional and social benefits of creative making, offering an inclusive and wellbeing-focused learning environment that supports both individual growth and community connection.

Fashion-Enter Ltd, an award-winning social enterprise and ethical garment manufacturer, brings extensive expertise in training, manufacturing and community education to the programme. ReFAB Studio, an initiative of The Kartik Foundation, contributes specialist knowledge in textile upcycling and circular design, alongside access to salvaged premium interior textiles.
Together, the organisations are creating a replicable model for local circularity where waste is reimagined, skills are shared, and community voices are at the centre.
Workshops are free to attend and will take place at FC Designer Workspace in North London, with all materials and equipment provided.
