Prepare to Join the 2018 Fashion Revolution

19-01-2022

With just under one month to go until the 5th edition of Fashion Revolution Week (23rd – 29th April 2018) the campaign is calling for each and every one of us to be a part of the biggest global movement campaigning for a fairer, safer, fashion industry.

The campaign marks the 5th year anniversary of the Rana Plaza factory collapse, which shook the fashion world and ignited a much-needed fashion activism movement. Since Fashion Revolution began, people from all over the world have used their voice and their power to tell brands that ‘things must change’. And it’s working. Brands are listening and being more open about their supply chains and factories. More manufacturers are making their factories safer. More producers are being seen and heard.

However, the story is far from over. This is just the beginning and as part of a company that runs an ethical, SMETA approved, fast fashion audited factory there is an obligation to ensure that every garment worker who makes the clothes across the globe is seen, heard, paid properly and working in safe conditions.

(As it should be – workers above at Fashion Enter’s ‘transparent and proud’ factory in North London)

Every voice makes a difference that’s why FashionCapital and sister company Fashion Enter Ltd will, once again, be joining Fashion Revolution Week 2018. It’s easy to take part from showing your label and asking brands #whomademyclothes? To spreading the word and making considered shopping choices.
