In addition the three ladies hailing from East Africa – Maria, Semira and Afefat are behind the hijab and modesty wear brand – Shama Afefat commented: “We create modest clothing & hijabs suitable for our customers, made with love and quality fabrics. We love to cover up and look beautiful at the same time, allowing our customers to feel like a queen in our modest clothing. Our aim is to provide modest clothing lines that are affordable.”
The launch on 23rd March will provide an opportunity to meet the designers, hear their stories and watch sewing demonstrations on how their ideas come to life.
