Make It British Live! Online

22-09-2020
Make it British Live! has gone virtual to connect buyers and designers with UK manufacturers of fashion, textiles and homeware.
The trade show was due to take place on 17th & 18th March at London’s Business Design Centre, but like all trade shows and events this year it had to be postponed. However, Kate Hills, founder of Make it British, had seen a rise in enquiries from UK businesses wanting to manufacture closer to home. She could see that to provide networking and support now is incredibly important and so she has come up with Make it British Live! Online. Just like the physical trade event, the virtual event will retain all of the shows features.
Visitors will be able to log on to the event platform and gain access to inspiring talks, workshop sessions, chat with the exhibitors in their expo booths, and speed network.
Make it British Live! will take place Thursday 24h September 10am – 5pm and Friday 25th September 10am – 4pm. As with previous Make it British events Fashion-Enter Ltd will be exhibiting to showcase their production services, industry training facilities and more.

Fashion-Enter Ltd’s CEO Jenny Holloway has been invited to speak at the Make it British live panel discussion – ‘Sketch Pad to Shopping Bag’ – the future of fashion. She will be joined by Davinder Madaher, freelance print designer, Omer Kulka, CMO of Kornit Digital and others for a panel discussion chaired by Kate Hills, founder of Make it British. Jenny will focus on the manufacturing side and talk about what is ethical manufacturing, speed of response, factory audits, rolling ranges and why 3D is necessary and what next for the industry. Catch this live panel discussion on Thursday 24th September at 10.30am.
