London Fashion Week – February 22

Tomorrow, Friday 18th February, will not only usher in storm Eunice across most of the UK, but it also marks the start of another London Fashion Week presented by Clearpay.
Building on the success of last season the five-day schedule will combine physical and digital events, with over 85 physical shows/presentations and 60 digital activations. Established designers taking part include the likes of Erdem, Bora Aksu, ROKSANDA and Vivienne Westwood. While newcomers showcasing via DiscoveryLAB, such as Margn, Florentina Leitner and Ester Kubisz, can be discovered via the digital schedule at londonfashionweek.co.uk The AW22/23 schedule also includes MA graduate collections from Central Saint Martins and the London College of Fashion. This week the organisers of London Fashion Week, the British Fashion Council (BFC), announced the shortlisted designers for the BFC/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund 2022 (BFCVDFF). Established in 2008, the BFCVDFF supports creativity in business and aims to celebrate exceptional talent and empower businesses to play their part in positive growth through bespoke mentoring and awarding of a £200,000 cash prize. The Fund receives the generous support of British Vogue, Burberry, Clearpay, Paul Smith and Rodial.

The shortlisted designers will be interviewed by the Fund Judging Committee this coming March with the winner/s announced in May.
Debuting both digitally and physically at 6pm GMT on Sunday 20th February is ‘Independent British Designer’ award winner Simone Rocha. Known for her signature sense of subversive femininity, Rocha’s brand has become a key moment on the London Fashion Week schedule since its inception in 2010.
